This course builds on the inductive Bible study method in Bible Study Methods I. Grammatical, historical, and literary exegesis is practiced in various types of biblical literature. These include narrative, poetic, and epistolary genres in the OT and NT with the goal of learning how author's intent is communicated in various genres. Additional attention is given to the significance of how earlier Scriptures are used in later Scriptures. A careful development of exegetical skills is emphasized.
